Some heroes wear capes. Some leap tall buildings in a single bound. Our hero is 9 pounds of sultry cuteness who has brought new light into our lives. We rescued Queso from an abusive home in 2020. It’s been a long journey, filled with vet specialists to help repair the injuries she suffered. She never fails to share her appreciation for being safe and happy. Whether she’s giving puppy kisses on your hand, or doing a headstand when she first sees you, or curling up between your calf muscles the second you stretch out, Queso recognizes that she’s loved. Her affinity for cheese is the impetus for her name, and she can hear a refrigerator door open miles away.
